Bayanihan Information and Resources Program (BIRP)

FAAIE Bayanihan Information and Resources Program (BIRP) provides tools, information and resources to the Filipino Americans in the Inland NW to develop common understanding of the problems facing our community  members and collaborate to address the  change necessary  to eliminate the challenges and barriers Filipino Americans face in schools, workplace, justice system and in the community.

We do this through our bayanihan spirit, one of our enduring positive Filipino values by banding together and  helping fellow countrymen/women in times of need without expecting anything in return.

The BIRP provides counseling services, resources, information and educational workshops  on many issues:

•    EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT- job search, resume writing, anti-workplace bullying and racism.

•    IMMIGRATION SUPPORT:  We help by bringing in the collective experience in our community and make referrals to community legal service providers .

•    EDUCATION SUPPORT:  We provide information, resources, referrals and educational connections.

•    SERVICE REFERRALS FOR OTHER NEEDS SUCH AS ELDERLY SERVICES, HOUSING, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND MANY MORE:  We can help connect you to community service providers and advocates to help you with your needs.

•    ENTREPRENEURIAL AND BUSINESS SUPPORT.
