The Bayanihan Rondalla is a group of dedicated members who bring the folk music to life.
Using traditional plucked instruments from the Philippines (the Bandurria, Octavina and Laud), the rondalla produces the lyric, resonate sound of Filipino folk music.
Most importantly, it is fun!
The Bayanihan Rondalla is founded on the principal of “Bayanihan”, everyone working together to produce great things. Whether adult or child, every member must help other members. Therefore, new members receive individualized help, and become performing members quickly.
Members helping members
Directed by Queeny Ravinera, an experienced music teacher and rondalla performer, the rondalla continues to grow. Music instruments are provided by the Rondalla Spokane Foundation.
